This is a view of hay bales in our own field. Just after sunup on a lovely morning. I was attracted by the pair of shadows the bales were throwing across the tractor tracks. This painting was awarded the Great American Artworks Award, second place, at the Pastel Society of America's 36th Annual Pastels Only Juried Exhibition. This took place at The National Arts Club, New York City.
